Monday August 23rd: Mad Pride Ireland is about to open itself up to a whole new audience when Stephen Fry sends out a Tweet on behalf of the Cork based Campaign on Monday August 30th next. The Tweet is part of an ongoing project Mr. Fry has running from his website to help charities and causes gain exposure.
Mad Pride Family Fun Day Cork An Enormous Success – Over 12,000 Attend The Event
Tuesday June 8th: Mad Pride Family Fun Day Cork saw over 12,000 people enjoy the fun, music, food and sun in Fitzgerald’s Park, Cork on Sunday June 6th last. This was the third such event held in Cork and organisers say it was the biggest and best yet.
Mad Pride Family Fun Day Killarney A Massive Success - 3000 Attend The First Event
Mad Pride Family Fun Day Killarney saw close to 3000 people enjoy the fun, music, food and sun at the Killarney National Park on Saturday May 22nd. This was the first such event held in Killarney and organisers say it was a great success, and are now looking forward to their Cork event in Fitzgerald’s Park on Sunday June 6th next.

Good afternoon and welcome to you all from Mad Pride Ireland.
My name is John McCarthy I am the founder of Mad Pride Ireland I am very normally mad and I am very proud of that fact, and I have discovered the great dignity of making that simple statement without fear.
The purpose of mad pride is simple and straightforward and so terribly complicated. It is to dismantle the fear and ignorance that surrounds the normality of madness within the wider community.
